Rail Clip

Elastic Rail Clip is an integral part of any railway fastening assembly, it holds the rail tracks in place with the sleeper thus preventing vertical and horizontal displacement of tracks. The clips are made up of spring steel by hot forging process to ensure better elastic properties and uniform microstructure of the final product.

Liners

The main role of a liner is to provide a snug fit between the toe of the rail and the rail clips and thus help to avoid “point contact” between the mating parts. According to the specific application in circuited tracks (needing insulation between the mating parts) and non-circuited tracks (no need for insulation), GFN liners (Glass-fibre Reinforced Nylon Liner) and Metal Liner respectively are used.

Rail Pads

Rail Pads are elastomeric mats that are placed between the rail and sleeper. They are specifically manufactured to have superior vibration attenuation and resilience properties which reduces impact loads on the track generated during train movement which in turn increases the life of the sleeper and rail significantly.

Dowels

Dowels are the anchoring base for the rails and as such, they are a fundamentally most important part of the entire fastening assembly. Holdwell manufactures dowels made of premium quality polyamide and polyethylene material.

Dowels are cylindrically shaped with a shaft area along with an internal and external thread, the internal thread act as the nut to hold screws while the external thread act as the bolt to screw it in and out from the sleeper.

Base Plate

Our expertise lies in supplying various types of base plates/tie plates, and having our in-house rolling mill provides us with better quality control over the finished product.

Fish Plate

A Fish plate is used for connecting and holding two rails in line. It provides rigid joints between the rails thus preventing lateral moments and disorientation of the track, leading to safer travel and a lesser number of accidents.
