TYTON Joint Gasket

This simple push-on type connection is at the core of the DI Pipe system and provides flexibility, sturdiness, ease of installation, and water tightness. More than 95% of pipe joints use this particular gasket as it provides a durable cost-effective solution to sound jointing.

Restraint Joint Gasket

This is a type of modified TYTON gasket used as a self-restraining joint and can sustain much higher pressure (up to 350psi) than a regular gasket. It provides a cost-effective and easy solution in comparison to conventional means. For example, these gaskets eliminate the need for thrust blocks and mechanical joints at the bents and areas of intermittent jerks making them particularly suitable for difficult or unsuitable ground conditions such as soft ground or subsidence-prone areas where space is limited such as steep inclines or under rivers.

Mechanical Joints Gasket

Mechanical Joint Gasket is a type of single hardness compound gasket used for joining DI Pipes and fittings. The mechanical joint uses the basic principle of the stuffing box and gland. It was developed nearly 100 years ago especially for use in gas transmission lines but has since also been popularly used in water lines fittings. The joint has four parts: a flange cast with a bell; a rubber gasket that fits in the bell socket; a gland, or follower ring, to compress the gasket; and tee-head bolts and nuts for tightening the joint.

Flange Gaskets are used to create a static seal between two flange faces at various operating conditions with varied pressure and temperature ratings. They can fill irregularities and increase the likelihood of being leakproof, especially in high-pressure applications and high differential temperature ranges. Correct installation of damage-free gaskets and damage-free flange faces is a requirement for a leak-free flange connection.
